The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Fifth in a series of Hawaiian images using a takeaway method and featuring bright tropical colors. ARTIST'S NOTE: This piece was created by painting an abstract with watercolors, scanning, covering with a layer of black, then erasing to reveal image in Photoshop. The colors POP when put in wide white mat with thin black frame and look especially great next to any (or all!) of the series.
